Havila Shipping ASA goal is to be the leading long term provider of quality-assured supply services to offshore companies; both national and international. This will be achieved through safe operation, best quality operation service, solid earnings, focus on human resources.
Safe operation means:
- None loss of life, personal injury or damage to health.
- None damage to the environment.
- None damage on vessels, cargo or third party property.
Havila Shipping ASA aims to safeguard its long-term perspective through a balanced chartering strategy that ensures a basic cash flow combined with an assessed exposure to the spot market.
Havila Shipping ASA has a clear goal of improving its performance with regards to health, safety and environment both at sea and onshore. The company’s goal is for its ships to fulfill or exceed our customer’s expectations as to standards within Quality, Health, Safety and Environment.
All Employees in Havila Shipping ASA shall;
- Always be familiar with the Company’s Policy & Objectives.
- Ensure that procedures and routines settled in QHSE systems are followed.
- Stop works which may cause Accident, Damage, Pollution or unsafe Incidents.
- Show responsibility and humanity above colleagues.
- Never use alcohol or drugs onboard our vessels
- Be cost- focused and take care of the values in the company
- Always be an excellent representative of Havila Shipping’s values above our customers and partners.
Havila Shipping ASA shall;
- Deliver the best products and services to our clients, and fulfil contract requirements.
- Establish, maintain and continually improve relations to clients, suppliers and brokers to ensure their full satisfaction.
- Evaluate and handle any complaints or comments from our clients or own employees as valuable information to improvement.
- Maintain a qualified administration and qualified personnel suitable for the company’s activities.
- Ensure that all Company’s activities are performed in accordance with national and international legislation and regulations as well as internal/external guidelines.
- Maintain Environmental program including continual improvement of our effort to minimize the impact of environment.
- Establish specific Environmental targets and carry out measurement against them and which include “Key Performance Indicators” KPI tables.
To achieve our superior goals Havila Shipping ASA has integrated standards and regulations in the Company’s Total Management System (TMS) based on: ISM Code, ISO 14001:2004, ISO 9001:2000 and ISPS code.
The Company Policy, and effective use of Company “Total Management System” (TMS) manuals shall be adopted by all employees at all times within Havila Shipping ASA. The TMS represents the Company’s internal control documents, which in turn defines the conditions for effective use of the Total Management System.
To ensure a healthy and strong HSE Culture within our work forces, whether offshore or on shore, the fully integration of HSEQ systems are the main tool for achievement.
